Herb Donald passed away at the Portage District Hospital on Friday, August 1, 2014 at the age of 75 years.
He leaves behind his wife Elaine of 51 years; son Kevin (Penny) Donald with grandchildren Reese and Ty Donald; son Terry Donald with grandchildren Kyle and Clinton Donald; daughter Leanne (Scott) Dewis with grandchildren Alissa and Shane Dewis; brothers Gordon, Laurie (Eunice) and Barrie (Vicki); sister Audrey (Mike) Hentituik; sisters-in-law Val (Curtis) Pogue and Evelyn Boak; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Herb was predeceased by his parents Jim and Annie Donald; brothers Walter and George; sisters Freda Burton, Marilyn Sauder, and Doreen Douglas; parents-in-law George and Francis Boak, brothers-in-laws Duane Boak, Don Boak and Mel Burton and sister-in-law Mary Donald.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place; a private burial will take place at the Rossendale Cemetery at a later date.
