Helen Adams

Peacefully on Monday, September 14, 2020, at the Portage District General Hospital, Helen Adams passed away at the age of 86 years.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Cindy Lake (Chris Hayward) and Janice (Melvin) Flett both of Portage la Prairie; grandchildren Jennifer (Will) Pollock, Melissa Lake (Rick), Carley Lake, Rebecca Flett (Brendan), Daniel Flett (Haylie), Hope Faschoway, Ashley Marleah, Shyniah Adams and Evan Adams; great grandchildren Jackson, Reese, Jesse, Morgan, Ari and Rowan; sister Lillian (Raymond) Lamirande; sisters-in-law Linda Ducharme and Jean Ducharme along with her son-in-law Willie Lake and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Clifford; parents Joseph and Marcelline Ducharme; children Judy Nikkel and Jamie Adams; brothers Rene Ducharme, John Ducharme and Paul Ducharme and sister-in-law Susan Ducharme

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel at 1:00 pm.  Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
