On Sunday, May 15, 2011, Hayward MacDonald passed away, at the Portage General Hospital at the age of 65 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his partner Judy Bishop of Southport, daughter Amelia (Dale) Sommer, and grandchildren Eric and Mackenzie of Portage la Prairie, MB
Celebration of Hayward's life will be held at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel on Friday, May 20, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. led by Don Boddy. A visitation will take place on Thursday, May 19, 2011 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. At a later date his cremains will be taken back to St Boniface Cemetery in Ramea, Newfoundland.
As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Hayward's memory to Central Plains Cancer Care, 318 Saskatchewan Ave. E. Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 0K8.
