We grieve the loss of our husband and father, Hassin Ventura, who passed away on Friday, October 28, 2016 at the age of 29 years.
Hassin will be lovingly remembered by his wife Maria; daughter Allison; son Jefferson; mother Juana Aguilar; siblings; Alas family; Medina family; Ortiz family; and many friends.
He was born in El Salvador on November 13, 1986. He went to school and graduated in San Sebastian. Hassin went to the police academy and continued to work with the police for a few years. He met his wife Maria, the married on October 25, 2008, they started a family with Allison in 2009 and then Jefferson joined the family in 2012. Shortly after Jefferson was born the family moved to Canada. They lived in Brandon where he worked with Maple Leaf Foods. Hassin and his family then moved to Portage where he started working at Simplot. His dream came true when he recently purchased a home for his family in MacGregor.
A wake will take place at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel on Friday, November 4, 2016 at 1:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 11:00 am at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church led by Father Philip Malayil. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
