Suddenly on Sunday, December 26, 2010, Grant Tidsbury passed away at the age of 53 years while visiting at Landmark, Manitoba.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Sherri (nee Guick); children Brooke, Tara-Lynne (Kevin Payne) and Brandon; parents Ron and Elaine Tidsbury; and siblings Keith (Bobbi-Lynn) (nieces Mallory and Morgan), Douglas (Elaine) (nephew Gillis and niece Kelsie), Lori (Mark) Ireland (nephew Cody and niece Megan) and Lisa (Jim Sharp) (nephews Dustin and Carter).

Grant will also be missed by his aunt Eleanor, cousin David, aunt Lois and uncle Don Mclean, cousins Sharon, Sandra, Shelley; and brothers-in-law Gerry (Sherri) Hennessey (niece Meghan and nephew Matthew); Rick Hennessey (nieces and nephews Kerry, Kreg, Kole and Keegan); Kent (Erin) Guick (nieces and nephews Rain, Hope, Heaven, Amber, Micalyn and Kerilynne).

Grant was born and raised in High Bluff where he completed his primary education and then went on to graduate from Arthur Meighen High School. He attended the U of M for the agriculture diploma course after which he returned to the family farm. Grant was a sports fan, and spent many hours at sporting events with his son Brandon, and was always supportive of his daughters Brooke and Tara. When not with his family, Grant spent the majority of his time attending to the family farm. His vegetable garden was also a special passion of his and he would often boast about his crop. He will be greatly missed.

There will be a private funeral.

Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Reception at Trinity United Church Lower Auditorium on Friday, December 31, 2010 at 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Grant's memory to High Bluff Cemetery Association, Box 44, High Bluff, MB, ROH OKO or to a charity of one's choice
