We announce with great sadness the peaceful passing of Gloria June Wescoup.  Gloria entered into the Spirit World on Friday, July 22, 2016 at the young age of 66 years.  She fought her second courageous battle with cancer.

Gloria leaves behind her beloved Mother Doreen Myran and loving Husband Ralph, Daughters Sandra (Del) Assiniboine, Maureen (Jason) Kurtz and Gail Francois. Eldest to youngest siblings Joe (Evy) Myran, Robert Myran Jr., Brenda Myran, Lorraine (James) Myran, D. Elizabeth Loane, Richard (Karen) Myran, Kenneth Myran, Sidney Myran, Sheila Myran, Daniel Myran.  Her Grandchildren Kyle (Aundy) Thillmann, Michael Fontaine, Cody Kurtz and Justin Kurtz; Great grandchildren Zoli Thillmann, Jonah Thillmann and Noah Thillmann.

She was predeceased by her Brother Doug Myran, Father Bob Myran and her Grandparents Tom (Naomi) Myran and Alex (Delia) Peepeetch.

Her vast career began at the Uniroyal Gas & Restaurant, Winnipeg Friendship Centre, Sparwood General Hospital, RCMP/DOPS, Long Plain Tribal Government Office, Long Plain Health Center and successfully retired from the Long Plain Employment & Training Services.

Gloria enjoyed numerous trips to Las Vegas with Maureen and various concerts with Sandra.  She also enjoyed the many family gatherings.

On Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 4:00 pm a Traditional Wake will be held at the Long Plain Spirit Lodge.  A Traditional Feast and Service will begin on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at noon.  In accordance with her wishes, Gloria will be cremated and a private family burial will take place at the Myran Woods Cemetery.
