Gilles Rey

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Gilles Rey at his residence in Teulon, MB on February 22, 2024 at the age of 60 years.

Left to cherish his memory are his life partner Joanne LaRocque; son Patrick (Krista) Rey; stepson Michael (Casey) Bussieres - Leanna, Niko; Joanne’s children Justin (Katie) Senga and Christine (Josh) Herlevsen - Hayden and Selena, his mother Doris Rey, sisters Gisèle (Dennis) Wlasichuk and Charlene (Jeff) Lucier; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  He will also be missed by his 3 furry companions Angel, Sasha and Sadie.  

Gilles was predeceased by his father Guy and brother Roger.

A come and go celebration of Gilles’ life will be held at the Haywood Community Hall on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
