Peacefully on March 31, 2016 Geraldine slipped into the arms of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ at the age of 101 years.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 1:00 pm at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel, Portage la Prairie, MB. Interment will take place at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
Geraldine was born and raised in Poplar Point and was the oldest of 3 children born to Wes and Lloyda Thompson.
She was predeceased by her parents and two younger brothers Ted and Elmer, one nephew Allan and her sister-in-law Margery (Elmer).
Geraldine leaves to mourn her sister-in-law Marion Thompson (Ted); nieces and nephews David (Marilyn), Lesley (Dave), Donald, Robert (Yvonne), Glenn (Valerie), Valerie (Troy) and many great nieces and nephews.
As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Geraldine’s memory to the a charity of one's choice.
