With great sadness we announce the passing of our loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Georgina is gone on to the Spirit World on Tuesday March 8, 2016 at the Portage District General Hospital at the age of 53 years.

Georgina leaves to mourn her passing her children Kenneth Jr., Alfred, Ivan, Troy Chanel, Jordan and Courtney, grandchildren Sophie, Delisia, Romeo, CiCi and Jade, brother Mervin, and sisters Evelyn and Doris. Also left to mourn Georgina’s passing are her sisters-in-law Joanne Roulette and Elsie Meeches, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Georgina was predeceased by her son Justin, daughter Gizzele, parents Alfred & Mabel Roulette, special aunt Lucy Contois, brothers Alvin, Allen, Earl and Russel, sisters Rose Levesseur, Gloria Roulette and Pauline Meechas.

Georgina loved her traditional leartning by her aunt.  She had a special talent for Native crafts such as beading, making dreamcatchers, moccasins and star blankets.

Traditional Wake will begin at 4:00 on Friday, March 11, 2016 at the Long Plain Spirit Lodge.  Traditional Feast and Service will take place on Saturday, March 12, 2016 beginning at noon followed by her body being laid to rest in the Long Plain Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Duane Roulette, Ivan Roulette, Alvin Jr. Smoke, Reynold Roulette, Ethan Roulette and Lorne Meechas.
