Geordon Dion Peters Jr.

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our beloved baby son, brother, nephew, & grandson Geordon Dion Peters Jr. on February 29, 2024 at the age of 7 months.

Baby Geordon will be greatly missed by his parents Tammy Smith & Geordon Peters, his brothers, Nicholas, Dion, Jason and Dreson sisters Keira, Kaci, Kylie and Stevie, grandmother Noella (Dom) as well as special auntie Christi Smith and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Baby Geordon was predeceased by his grandparents; Donnie Richard Sr. and Anne Smith, uncle Steven Smith “Boss”and great grandparents Noel Joseph and Marlene Peters.

Baby Geordan was born on July 5, 2023, in Winnipeg. He was always smiling, cheerful and loving and loved to watch “Coco Melon.” He made everyone smile.

The family would like to thank everyone who stopped by our home, Long Plain Public Works, Firekeepers, cooks, Dennis Meeches and North Eagle Singers, Long Plain First Nation, Karen & McKenzie’s Funeral Home.

Wake will take place at Long Plain Spirit Lodge beginning at 4:00 pm, Thursday March 7,2024.  Feast and Ceremony will be held at Long Plain Spirit Lodge on Saturday March 9, 2024 at noon.
