Garnet Webb

Peacefully with family by his side, Garnet Webb passed away on Friday, August 16, 2019 at the Portage and District Hospital at the age of 67.

Garnet will be lovingly remembered by his son Derek (Michelle) Webb of Calgary, AB, as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren extended family members and friends.

Garnet was predeceased by his parents William Webb and Doreen Dutka.

Garnet loved working, and through the years he worked at MDC and Visions of Independence, as well as driving a school bus, and driving taxi in his younger years.  He enjoyed reading, watching sports on TV, and he loved to talk.  Garnet was a ‘grouchy old man’ with a heart of gold, and he will be greatly missed.

A celebration of Garnet’s life will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel, Portage la Prairie, MB. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
