Garda Sylvia Sinclair Moran

Garda passed peacefully the morning of February 7, 2023. Her family had gathered to be with her as she began her journey to her ancestors.

Her family invites you to a viewing and reception that will take place at McKenzies Funeral Chapel, 56 Royal Rd. S., Portage la Prairie, MB on Sunday, February 12, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

She will complete her journey where it started with a memorial service and interment later this spring in the Fisher River Cree Nation.

Anyone that knew Garda knows she loved flowers and all of Mother Earth. However, in lieu of flowers, she would love for you to grow something in your own home or garden as McKenzies has by planting a tree in her name.
