Gage had an intense love for life. Gage was a multi-sport athlete, playing all the sports he could. In high school he focused on Football, Basketball, Badminton, Lacrosse and Track. Gage excelled at his sports always giving 100% achieving numerous medals and awards over the years. Gage was selected for Team Manitoba in Track travelling to Abbotsford, B.C and Montreal. He won Junior Male Athlete of the Year, 2 years in a row as well as Varsity Male athlete of the Year in Grade 12. Gages greatest love was Football he started playing with the Portage Pitbulls at the age of 8. He was a versatile player, playing a variety of positions it would be nothing for him to play offense and defense a whole game. He went on to playing high school football with the Trojans. He played quarterback for 2 years and his last year playing receiver which he loved. Gage was selected to play for Team Manitoba for Under 18 as well as playing in the Senior Bowl in his last year of high school. After a long recovery from a ACL repair Gage was so excited to hit the football field at Queen's University this August. He would jokingly say “someday I will make it Big”.
Gage enjoyed spending time with friends whether it was hanging out at McDonalds, shooting hoops or throwing the football around. Gage especially enjoyed spending time going for rides on the dirt bikes with his dad. Gage was a "Warrior".
