Fredrick Myerion

On Tuesday April 16, 2013 in Vancouver British Columbia, Fredrick Myerion returned to the Spirit World at the age of 70 years.

Traditional Wake will take place on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 5:30 pm at the Long Plain Spirit Lodge.  Traditional feast and funeral service will take place on Friday, April 26, 2013 beginning at 12 noon at the Long Plain Spirit Lodge.  Interment will follow at the Myran-Woods Cemetery.

Fredrick “Freddie Fox” Myerion was born on November 26, 1942. He was an adventurous and sociable man. Fred enjoyed adventure so much that he spent a large part of his adult life travelling throughout Canada and the United States. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends on his occasional visits back to his home community of Long Plain First Nation and often would share stories of his travels. Fred spent the latter part of his years residing in Vancouver British Columbia.

Predeceased by his parents Naomi and Tom J. Myran; brothers Robert, George, Alex, Gilbert and Rudy; sisters Bertha, Christine, Joan and Enna; daughter Frieda; he leaves to mourn his passing his children, Linda McKay and Christopher McKay; grandchildren Evan, Wilfred, Ross, Mary Jane, Carson, Shayden, Keivah, and Natalie, all of Pine Creek First Nation, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
