Floyd Edwin Slack
With his family at his side, Floyd Slack passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2013, at the Portage District General Hospital at the age of 93 years.
Predeceased by beloved wife Melba; parents Lorne and Grace Slack and siblings Gordon, Charlie, Howard and Lorene.
He is lovingly remembered by his children Lawrence (Linda) Slack, Kenneth Slack, and Evelyn Slack all of Winnipeg, MB; granddaughter Shannon (Kory) Matthews and great grandchildren Joshua and Katelyn Matthews; siblings Hazel Plews, Orville Slack of Restin, MB, Hattie (Ernie) Heichert of Genelle, BC, Albert (Shirley) Slack of Surrey, BC and Bertha (Leo) Chiquoine of Gainsborough, SK.
Floyd enjoyed keeping active, listening to music, spending time with the boys for coffee and always enjoyed spending time with his family.
Funeral service was held on Monday, June 3, 2013 at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel and was led by Rev. Julie Baker.
