On Friday, July 10, 2015, Effie Dennis passed away at the Lions Prairie Manor at the age of 89 years.
Predeceased by her husband Ray on November 11, 1996 and by her loving grandson Jim on November 11, 1998. Jim was born on Grandpa’s birthday; September 27.
She is survived by her loving family, Karen, Darline and Mary Sue (Tom) of Lethbridge, AB; Rodney (Gini), Wayne, Courtenay (Rhonda, and her children Dale and Emily), Stacy (Rob and their daughter Victoria), Andy (Belinda and their children Ryan, Leisha and Grady) all of Portage.
True happiness does not come from possessions or fame, it comes from the quality of your relationship with the people you know and love and Effie had unconditional love for everyone.
At Effie’s request there will be no formal funeral service. In lieu of flowers or cards, donations in her name may be made to a charity of your choice.
