Edward (Eddy) Lawrence Palendat

At his residence in the Lions Prairie Manor, Eddy Palendat passed away on Monday, September 2, 2013 at the age of 76 years.

He was predeceased by his parents Eugene and Regina Palendat and brothers Leon, Cam, Art, Ray, Barry and Albert.

Eddy will be lovingly remembered by his 6 children and grandchildren: son Mike (Shannon) Palendat with Brandon, (Mya and Kylie), Amber (Max and Leeland) and Riley (Mason and Hailey), son Mark (Donna) Palendat with Kerri (Noah, Eve, Eden and Lucas) Tara (Keenan) Smetaniuk (Amelia), daughter Roberta Palendat (Kent), son Ted (Dee) Palendat with Dylan and Christa, son Shawn (Cathy) Palendat with Bryson and Priscilla and daughter Nancy (Kelly) Isley with Caitlyn, Breanna and Braden, and special friend Gerda Wilson.  Also left to mourn his passing are his sisters Bev (Brian) Bell of Portage la Prairie and Yvonne (Lenny) Driscoll of Kelowna, BC; sisters-in-law Beth Palendat and Sharon Moar both of Portage la Prairie and their families.

Visitation and viewing will take place on Thursday, September 5, 2013 from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel. A Celebration of Eddy’s Life will be held on Friday, September 6, 2013 at 3:00 pm at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Eddy’s memory to the Central Plains Cancer Care Services, 318 Saskatchewan Ave. E., Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 0K8.
