It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Eddie Halajeski on Friday, January 4, 2013 at the Portage District General Hospital in Portage la Prairie.
Eddie is the dearly loved husband of the late Lillian May Halajeski (nee Anderson); father of Mavis (Ken Steele) of Winnipeg and Lauris (Dean Roberts) of Calgary; and Opa to Lindsay (Michael) and Evan (Karen) of Calgary. Eddie is also survived by his sisters-in-law Donna and Beth Anderson as well as many nieces and nephews.
Family was very important to Eddie and he totally enjoyed all opportunities to spend time together.
The family is grateful to the staff of the Portage District General Hospital for the excellent care they have taken of Eddie and also for their compassion and sensitivity for him and his family in his final days.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 1:30 pm in St. Mary's la Prairie Anglican Church led by The Rev. John Dolloff.
