Doreen & Earl Johnston

Peacefully, surrounded by the love of their family, Doreen Johnston passed away at the Portage District General Hospital on November 12, 2015, at the age of 84 years, and Earl Johnston passed away at Douglas Campbell Lodge on April 3, 2016  at the age of 88 years.

Doreen & Earl will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by their children: Sharon (Steve) McCorrister of Portage la Prairie, MB, Ralph (Dawn) Johnston of Dawson Creek, BC, Shelley (Danny) Frith of Portage la Prairie, MB; grandchildren: Jodi (Blaine), Chris, Jamie (Char), Orry, Caitlin (Ryan); great-grandchildren: Alleasha, Cassidy (Darryl),Cole, Chaley, Rhianna, Landon and Andrew; great-great-grandson Jesse James (JJ); Earl’s brothers  Tom Johnston, Frank (Clara)Johnston and  Sid Johnston, and sister-in-law Genie Johnston; along with many nephews, nieces and cousins.

Doreen & Earl were predeceased by their parents William & Elizabeth Anderson and Dorothy & Thomas Johnston, Doreen’s  brother Lindsey and his daughter Linda and her son Ray;  Earl’s sister Myrte Grouette, granddaughters Shauna Leigh, Terri Dawn and grandson Quentin Harder.

A Graveside Service will be held at Hillside Cemetery on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. John Doloff officiating.
