Donald Glennie

Donald James Glennie passed away peacefully in his home on December 25, 2019 after spending the prior evening with family and friends.

Don was born in Portage la Prairie, MB in 1953 and grew up in Macdonald, MB where he resided all his life.

Left to mourn his passing are his brother Gord, sister-in-law Joy and his two nephews Garrett (Jo-Anne) and Justin. He was predeceased by his parents John and Ida Glennie and brother Alistair Glennie.

Thank-you to Don’s neighbours for helping out family in their time of need, with special thanks to Gene and Darlene Doty and Bill and Pat Shewfelt.

Cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will be held at MacDonald Cemetery a later date.

If friends so desire,  donations may be made in Don’s memory to The Kidney Foundation of Canada, MB Branch, Unit 1-452 Dovercourt Drive, Winnipeg, MB, R3Y 1G4.
