Dad was born in Fairford River, Manitoba, the only son of Jack and Claria Hetherington. Dad had 5 sisters. He received his education in Winnipeg and worked for McDonalds Autobody until 1974 when he moved to Portage where he worked at Dan and Petes Autobody as the shop foreman. Some people say he was one of the best painters around. Dad loved hunting and camping and was proud of his two sons. Dad will be missed by all the people who loved him, no matter when you saw him he always had a smile or something good to say. He will be missed dearly by his family.
