Dennis "Dale" Watson

Peacefully, on July 26, 2024 at 8:18 pm at the Portage District General Hospital, our beloved Spouse, Father, Papa, Brother (In-Law), Uncle and Friend, Mr. Dale Watson, aged 74 years, beloved spouse of Brenda, passed away with his loving family by his side. 

Dale leaves to mourn his passing his loving spouse Brenda; their children Wendell (Natasha) and Jason (Dana), grandchildren: Jake, Edwin and Willow. He will also by missed by his only sibling Gary (Laura); their children Kelly (Rhea) & Myra (Ryan); grandchildren: Cheyanne and Mason and 3 great-granddaughters; along with numerous relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Daniel and Marguerite Watson. 

Dale was a hardworking, strong, loving, fun and gentle man however he wasted no time in letting you know he disliked you if you rubbed him the wrong way. He loved his family and was deeply devoted to his spouse Brenda, his sons Wendell and Jason and his grandchildren; Jake, Edwin and Willow; who he adored. He was no Saint by any means and never portrayed himself to be one; what you saw was what you got. Already missed by all, gone but never forgotten, forever in our hearts. 

A viewing is to be held at the McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel, 56 Royal Road South, Portage la Prairie MB on Friday, August 2, 2024 from 6:00 – 7:00 pm for family and from 7:00 – 8:00 pm for friends.

A service and luncheon will be held at the McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel, 56 Royal Road South, Portage la Prairie MB, on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 1:00 pm with interment to follow at the Oakville Cemetery in Oakville, MB. 

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in Dale’s memory to the Manitoba Lung Association, Box 2040, Station Main, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3R3.
