With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Dean Verwey, on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at St. Boniface Hospital. He was 54 years old.
Dean was predeceased by his parents Frank Verwey and Faye Verwey (nee Switzer) and father-in-law Roxy Carpenter.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Natalie; daughter Candy; son-in-law Peter; grandchildren Jared, Kylie and Yale; brother Dwayne (Judy); nieces and nephews Tara (Shawn); great nephews Thomas and Noah, Guy (Kris), Brett (Joella), Kayla (Brad); brother Chuck (Kathy) and nephew Lucas; brother Kevin (Jennifer) and nephews Dreighten and Evance; sister-in-law Robin (Rick); mother-in-law Margaret; brother-in-law Phil (Lori) and nephews Adam and Matthew.
A celebration of Dean’s life with a gathering of friends and family will take place on Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, 275 Duke Ave, Portage la Prairie.
