With sadness we announce David “Davey” Myerion entered the spirit world on Saturday, March 1, 2025 in Neepawa, MB at the age of 60 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Cynthia Myerion, children David (Liberty), Allison (Lance), Peggy Lee (Farrell), Brattany, Melissa (Ross), Dylan, Amanda (Cole), Bobbi (Sonny), Delaney and Brandon, 33 grandchildren, siblings Donna (Dennis), Gary (Doris), Alvin Jon, Mavis, Evelyn Davis (Carl), Glen, Loretta and Rosalind, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his son David Houle, grandson Dorian Myerion, parents Dauphin Myerion and Alice Cameron, siblings Archibald, Irvin, Melody and Dale.
David went to school and received his education at William Whyte School. He grew up with Sundance, he was a helper in ceremony traveled to Alberta with his wife to do the work, helper with family feast and was also a pipe Carrier. He was a “Jack of all trades”, small engine mechanic, artist, avid hunter, cook, jewelry maker, groundskeeper and “Cable Guy”. He was self taught in what ever he accomplished.
Traditional Wake will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at the Long Plain Spirit Lodge beginning at 4:00 pm. Traditional Feast and Service will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at the Long Plain Spirit Lodge beginning at noon. Burial to follow in the Indian Springs Cemetery, Swan Lake First Nation.
