Daniel Edward Sokolosky

It is with deep sorrow we announce the sudden passing of our husband, father and son, Daniel “Danny” Sokolosky on Friday, May 12, 2023 with his wife by his side at the age of 71 years.

Danny will be lovingly remembered by his wife Linda of 48 years, son Jeremy (Angela) with grandchildren Tristen, Ivy and Skyler, son Jodie (Megan) with grandchildren Carson, Cade and Reese, son Jamie (Laura) with grandchildren Chloe and Briana, mother Evelyn Higgins, mother-in-law Dorothy Taylor, siblings Laurie Smith, Allan (Shirley) Sokolosky, Terry (Ingrid) Sokolosky and Leanne Revet, along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  He was predeceased by his father Demer Sokolosky, brother Blaine Sokolosky and sisters Lynne and Kathy Sokolosky.

He was born and raised in the Gainsborough District and loved the country life.  Danny enjoyed his time fishing with his sons.  Danny was one of the hardest workers around.  He also spent many hours working on the yard and in the garden.  Years ago, he was an avid painter, and loved to paint wildlife. 

He will be missed dearly by all who loved him, Rest In Peace.  

As per his wishes cremation has taken place and Danny’s life will be celebrated privately.
