Cyril Gervais

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cyril Gervais on November 29, 2020 at the age of 83 years.

He leaves to mourn his wife of 56 years Lucienne, children Marc, Alain (Tracey), Nadine (Murray) Miller, Stephane (Kerri), and grandchildren Anna, Katelynne, Matthew, Reese, Logan, Ethan and Shayne. He is also survived by his siblings Paul (Carol), Pauline (Cyril) Legault and Maurice (Emily) as well as many nieces and nephews.

Cyril was very proud of his family and was always ready to give a helping hand. He was a farm machinery dealer and was also involved in construction equipment sales. Cyril enjoyed meeting people, and selling was his life.

Cyril enjoyed travelling, spending his winters in Arizona and taking part in hockey, curling and golf.

As life went on he developed renal difficulties and it eventually took his life.

Many thanks to his local doctor in Portage, Dr. Omichinski and all of the nurses, and to Dr. Resterova Martin in the St. Boniface Peritoneal Dialysis Unit.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be a small family service.
