Peacefully on February 2, 2015 Corrie, Mom, Oma passed away at the Douglas Campbell Lodge at the age of 94 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Joe; son Peter in 1992 and two brothers in Holland. She leaves to mourn her son Henry of Portage la Prairie; daughter Janet (Wayne) Egan of Cultus Lake, BC with grandchildren Jeff, Derek and Jackie and their spouses; daughter Linda Bunnik of Courtenay, BC with grandson Matthew; daughter-in-law Debbie Bunnik of Portage la Prairie with granddaughters Andrea and Laurel and their spouses; nine great grandchildren and extended family in Canada and the Netherlands.
She was born in the Netherlands and moved to Canada as a new bride in 1949. Mom never worked outside the home but did some childcare as well as one would never see her without knitting needles, crochet hooks or by her sewing machine. Her hands were always busy doing something. She enjoyed travelling and gardening with dad. Mom was a member of the Catholic Church and always carried her rosary.

A private family graveside service will held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
