Suddenly on Thursday, November 23, 2017, Clarence Atkinson entered the spirit world peacefully at the age of 81 years.
Clarence was predeceased by Esther Mousseau. His parents Jerry and Clara Longclaws, his 4 sisters Doreen, Lisa, Clariss, Isabel and his 1 brother Alfred, his son Leroy Mousseau.
He leaves to mourn his passing, 4 daughters Linda, Clarissa, Candice and 1 other daughter, his sons Allan, David, Smiley, Curly (Denise), Colin, Ivan, Brad (Irene), Lenny, Chuck, Rick and Clarence Jr.. Numerous nieces and nephews grandchildren and great grandchildren
Dad worked as a roofer for most of his life, he would often travel to other provinces to seek work. He also loved his horse racing whether it be in Calgary or in Winnipeg.
Dad loved to read his bible nightly which he kept close to his heart. Eventually he made a commitment to his savior as he got into his senior years, Dad would often travel to surrounding communities to spread the word of his savior
He will be sadly missed by his children and relatives and others who knew him.
Traditional Wake will begin at Long Plain Spirit Lodge at on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 6:00 pm. Traditional Feast will take place on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 beginning at noon followed a Traditional Service at 1:00 pm at Long Plain Spirit Lodge.
