“Lone Thunderbird”

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Christopher. On January 5th, 2024 Christopher began his journey to be with Creator and all our ancestors that walked before him.  Christopher was predeceased by his father Thomas, Grandparents Mary Jane,(Koko) Wallace (Shoomis), Louis (Moon Johnson) & Louisa Myran and his beloved daughter Trinity Myran whom was his shining star.  Their love and guidance will forever be cherished in his heart. He was a beloved son, grandson, brother uncle, father and friend.

On June 27th, 1983, Christopher was chosen by Creator to come down to earth, but not without choosing Thomas and Leona as his beloved parents. Christopher is survived by his sisters Tara (Chad) and Candice (Patrick) along with his three beautiful children son Triston (Julia), Keaton and his beautiful baby girl Brookyln Mary Jane and their mother, Evangeline. Chris had a special place in his heart for his dog “Chop” and “OG” who will sadly miss him as well. Christopher had numerous nieces and nephews whom he leaves to mourn, Acea, Mateo, Kevin Jr, Anniyah, Asanti, Drayton, Braylon, Lebirty, Legasy (Chris’s skating superstar) and Ledelliah.

Christopher was an exemplary athlete and had a passion for hockey and baseball from a young age and spent many hours on the ice, sharpening his skills and creating lasting memories with his teammates and family.   Christopher had a deep love for boxing and admiration for the discipline and strength required in the sport. He found solace through independent practice and shared his knowledge of the sport by teaching his nephews.

In addition to his passion for hockey and boxing, Christopher also had experience in the fields of plumbing and mining.  He was admired for his strength and mechanical skills and was employed in various gold mines in Ontario and Manitoba. He worked diligently and his hard work and dedication in this field were greatly appreciated by his colleagues and supervisors.

Christopher was a Red Seal plumber and was very proud of this huge accomplishment. He used his plumbing skills to work in Nunavut and his home community of Long Plain First Nation.   He utilized his skills and expertise to provide essential plumbing services to these communities.  His dedication to his work and his commitment to ensuring the well-being of others were evident in his contribution to the local plumbing industry.

Christopher’s diverse range of skills and experiences showcased his versatility and adaptability.   Whether it was in the plumbing industry in Nunavut or the mining industry in Ontario, Christopher approached his work with professionalism and a strong work ethic. His contributions to these industries will be remembered and appreciated by those who had the opportunity to work alongside him.

Christopher’s children were his main source of strength and pride. His love for his children was immeasurable and will surely transcend time and space. He was known for providing for his children and ensuring that he did his best to ensure they were well loved and taken care of.

Although Christopher’s time with us was cut short, his impact on those around him will leave lasting impacts on all those who knew and loved him. He will always be remembered for his kind heart, infectious laugh, and unwavering spirit.

May Christopher rest in peace, knowing that he touched the lives of many and left a lasting legacy.  He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Christopher is now with his Father Thomas and his baby girl Trinity in the Spirit world and together they will all continue to watch over all of us and protect us.
