On February 19, 2016, Cheryl Montgomery passed away peacefully at the Manitoba Developmental Centre at the age of 52.
Cheryl came to reside at MDC in September of 1976, spending her last 7 months on the Convalescent Unit.
She leaves to mourn her MDC family and friends.
Cheryl enjoyed life, and in particular, required her favourite items to always be near, which included her pink blow dryer, lipstick and a nice pair of gloves!! She had a contagious laugh that brightened everyone’s day. Cheryl will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her and her presence will be deeply missed by her Convalescent family.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Aspen Worship Centre at the Manitoba Developmental Centre on Thursday February 25, 2016 at 1:30 pm. Interment will follow at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Portage la Prairie, MB.
