Cherish Flower Arlene Wasicuna was born sleeping and taken into the arms of Virgin Mary on Wednesday, July 22, 2015.

She leaves to mourn her parents Curtis John Wasicuna and Sydney Nadine Perswain; brothers Dominick, Damien and Darius; sister Cynthia Darla; maternal grandparents Arlene (Warren) Merrick and Sidney (Adrienne) Myran; paternal grandparents Sandra (Marco) Garcia and John Wasicuna; maternal great grandmothers Mary Lorraine Perswain and Doreen Myran, paternal great grandmother Linda Tanner; aunties and uncles Carrie Daniels, Dustin Smoke, Tiffany Peters, Krystal Merrick, Matthew “Catlin” Perswain, Dana Merrick, Alexis Merrick, Michael Wasicuna, Stephanie Wasicuna, Tyrone Wasicuna, Sydney “Bear” Myran and Courtney Myran and many cousins too numerous to list.

Predeceased by great grandfathers Andrew Perswain, Robert Myran, Jim Tanner and Ernest Smoke; great grandmothers Victoria Smoke and Edna Merrick; and great uncle Edward Prince.

Traditional Wake will begin at 4:30 pm on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at the Long Plain Rez Plex.

Traditional Feast and Service will take place on Monday, July 27, 2015 beginning at noon.  Cherish Flower Arlene Wasicuna will be laid to rest in the Perswain Historical Site Cemetery at Long Plain First Nation.  Pallbearers are Curtis Wasicuna and Warren Merrick.
