Celestine Nott (nee McDonell)

Peacefully on Thursday, November 6, 2012, Celestine joined her husband Ed in Heaven.

She was predeceased by her husband Ed; her parents Donald & Lillian McDonell; brothers, Arnold, Alex and sister Margaret Slessor. She leaves to cherish her memory; sons Melvin Nott and Harry Nott (Tricha); daughters, Sheila Podruchny (John) and Carolyne Bell (Don); grandchildren, Joanna Frias (Paul), Cory Nott (Sherry), Lisa Gordon, Harry Jr. Nott (Danielle), Olivia Nott (Maciek), Ronnie Roteliuk (Melissa), Randi Lee Switzer (Joel), Tracey Hanson (Reid), Amanda, Scott, Trevor Bell; her special little people, her great grandchildren; Brittney, Makenzie, Tyler, Kylie, Jayden, Jessa, Jance, Malcom and Aiden. She also adored her nieces and nephews along with many special close friends.

Celestine was born and raised on a farm near St. Eustache, Manitoba. She graduated from high school at the Catholic Convent in St. FraA�ois Xavier. Shortly after, she married her loving husband Ed and together they raised four children in the Belcourt area. Later moving to Portage la Prairie where they spent many happy years enjoying their close friends and their family. Celestine was a long serving member of the Catholic Women's League of the Good Shepherd Parish.

Prayers will be held on Thursday, November 8, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 9 at 11:00 am at the Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church led by Father Eric Giddins. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery

As expressions of sympathy, if friends wish, donations may be made in Celestine's memory to the Good Shepherd Parish Building Fund, 114 Countess Ave, Portage la Prairie, MB, R1N 0T2 or to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 200 a�" 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6 or to a Charity of one's choice
