Ceciley Faye Suderman passed away peacefully at home in Ocean Falls, B.C. on January 13, 2023, with her oldest daughter by her side.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Abe Suderman, son Carl Suderman, daughter Debra Gregory, and grandson Davyd Suderman. Leaving to mourn are her daughters Gladys Miller (James), Pat Suderman, Roxanne St. Goddard (Fred), daughter-in-law Suszan Suderman, son-in-law Ernest Gregory, 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson, and her sister Audrey Peppler.
Mom was born in Plum Coulee, Manitoba in October 3, 1935. She met and married Abe on November 20, 1954. She loved, laughed, and followed her husband all around Manitoba on different adventures, settling at Kane on a farm raising their family. They moved up to Rossendale in the early 1970’s, for their next adventure and had many years of potato farming. She retired in Portage la Prairie, where even though Dad's health was not good, would entertain anyone who showed up on their doorstep and never letting you go home hungry. After Dad passed, Mom left Portage la Prairie and moved in with her oldest daughter and son-in-law in B.C.
She loved to knit, do puzzles, paint, read, and play the piano. She will be remembered for her faith, and her love of her family. She was quiet around the large personality of our Dad, but when she spoke you really needed to listen.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff in the Bella Bella Clinic B.C. for all the support and care that they gave Mom and her daughter at this difficult time.
A private service will be held for the family. The service will also be livestreamed, please click on the link to register to view. https://event.forgetmenotceremonies.com/ceremony?c=df9e4d9e-d8b5-450b-9c9a-bf86325ea77e
