Cassidy Riel Mecas

Suddenly on December 21, 2023, Cassidy “Casper” Mecas entered the spirit world with family by his side in Winnipeg, MB at the age of 29 years.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother Tamara Meeches, wife Sydney Longclaws, children Kaystin and Cianna, siblings Joshua Daniels, Natasha Daniels, Kyrin Shingoose, Shastin Meeches and Kyle Cook, grandfather Joe Myran; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.  He was predeceased by his father Kevin Mecas, grandparents Oriele and Campbell Mecas and grandmother Doreen Meeches.

A Wake will take place at Long Plain Spirit Lodge on Friday, January 5, 2024 at 4:00 pm.  Feast and Ceremony will be held at Long Plain Spirit Lodge on Saturday, January 6, 2024 beginning at noon followed by burial at the Myran Cemetery.
