With sadness we announce the sudden passing of Carl George Wescoupe on Sunday, January 29, 2023 in Winnipeg, MB at the age of 40 years.
Left to mourn Carl’s passing are his partner Elaine, children Carl Jr., Mariah, and one granddaughter, mother Diana, brothers and sisters Jamie, Devon, Shane and JR, as well as other siblings, cousins, aunts and uncles, relatives and friends. Carl was predeceased by his father Herman, sisters Holly and Tracey, uncle Gary, grandparents James, Clara, Barbara and George, and great grandparents Gerry and Clara.
Carl was born in Portage la Prairie and grew up in Long Plain First Nation, Saskatoon and Winnipeg. He lived in Brandon and worked at Maple Leaf until he was injured, then moved back to Winnipeg.
Carl enjoyed going to church at St. Matthew’s. He was currently sharing a room with his brother on Maryland so they could be close to their mother at the Lions Manor on Sherbrook.
Carl had the utmost love and respect for his mother and wasn’t afraid to show it. He spent time with his mom and brother every day. He loved to joke around and we loved his wonderful smile.
Carl was a kind and loving son and a good father. He will be greatly missed.
