Brian Douma

Brian Douma, beloved brother, father and friend, unexpectedly passed away on May 21, 2022 at the age of 53 years. He is survived by his mother Gerrie, step-mother Tina, brother Rob, sisters Darlene and Myrna, and daughter Jasmine Town. He was predeceased by his father John Douma.

Brian was raised in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba but has since been a long time resident of Sydney, Nova Scotia. He was a dear friend, loved by many for his kindness, generosity, and sense of humour. He was always willing to lend a helping hand or an ear to those in need. His infectious laughter and kind heart will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

A celebration of life will be held in Sydney, Nova Scotia at the Branch 12 Legion, 101 Dorchester St. on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at 5 pm.
