Brenda Eileen Jackson (nee Reid)

Peacefully, with her family by her side, Brenda Eileen Jackson passed away on September 25, 2023 at Portage la Prairie, MB at the age of 59 years.

Brenda will be lovingly remembered by her son Matthew Jackson, siblings Beverly (Stephen) Graham and Brian (Tracey) Reid, as well as one niece, nephews, relatives and friends.

Brenda was predeceased by her parents Donald and Eileen (nee Boback) Reid.

Brenda was born in Middleton, Nova Scotia and in 1965 moved with her family to Portage la Prairie, MB. Brenda was a caring, strong independent woman who lovingly raised her son.

She enjoyed photography, painting and sewing, and happily shared the fruits of her talents with her friends and family. She will be greatly missed.

Funeral Service will be held at St. Mary’s la Prairie Anglican Church at 1:00 pm, Friday, September 29, 2023 with Rev. John Dolloff Officiating.

If friends so desire, donations may be made in Brenda’s memory to St. Mary’s la Prairie Anglican Church, 36 2 St SW, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 2A1.
