It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Brenda Asham on August 5, 2021 at the age of 58 years.
Left to treasure her memory are her husband Jaret Fedorowich of Oakville, MB; father Wayne Asham of Portage la Prairie, MB; brother Darcy (Beth) Asham of Maple Ridge, BC; daughters Calynne Smith (Kelly Brown) of Brandon, MB, and Shea Smith of Portage la Prairie, MB. Also missing her are her six grandchildren Tiana, Joey, Owen, Wyatt, Kaden and Kaleb; nephews Cameron and Micheal Asham; sisters-in-law Lynn Kruzer (Ernie) and Sheri Pegoski (Les) and their families; along with numerous other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her mother Lynne Asham and parents-in-law Bill and Tina Fedorowich.
Brenda was born to Lynne and Wayne Asham in McCreary, MB on February 18, 1963 and grew up in Morden MB. She graduated from the University of Manitoba with her Bachelor of Education and went on to teach in Bloodvein MB. She then worked at the Manitoba Developmental Centre until her retirement in 2019 and was currently employed with New Directions until her passing.
Brenda “Grandy” loved her family, especially her grandchildren, more than anything, and was always there to help someone in need.
