Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, Beverley Heintz passed away at the Portage District General Hospital on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the age of 55 years.
She leaves to mourn her husband Bob; children Dusty, Nick, Amy (Ben), Matt (Jen); grandchildren Josh, Zach, Mackenzie, Hannah, August and Keira.
Bev was born June 11, 1957 in Portage la Prairie. She completed her education in Portage and then moved to Winnipeg where she lived for a few years. She then moved to the country and lived outside of Portage. She worked at the Portage Daily Graphic and Portage Chrysler. Bev enjoyed reading, playing card and spending time with her family.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 16 at 2:00pm at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel led by Pastor Ray Willms. Private family interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, if friends wish, donations may be made in Bev's memory to Central Plains Cancer Care Services, 318 Sask.Ave.E, Portage la Prairie, MB, R1N 0K8.
