Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 12, 2016 at McKenzie's Portage Funeral Chapel

Peacefully on Wednesday, February 10, 2016, Donna Carmichael went to be with her heavenly family, sons Christopher and Brodie, daughter Rhonda and husband Ted.

She is survived  by her son Timothy, daughter in law Shireem , granddaughter Rainia and grandson Brodie, also survived by granddaughter Vanna and grandson Tyler and great granddaughter Hazel, sisters Karan (Bob) Carmichael, Maxine (Carl) Tacan, and brothers Bruce (Bonnie) Munro and  Brian (Darlene) Munro and many nieces and nephews.

Donna was born on September 13, 1938 in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Brodie and Naomi Munro.  Donna was united in marriage June 2, 1956 to Ronald (Ted) Carmichael.  They lived most of their married lives in the Gainsbourgh District, where they started their family.  Donna worked at various jobs starting out at the Moonlight Inn and Ateah Transfer at Victoria Beach then on to Portage where she was a waitress at the Mayfair Hotel, a cook at Portage Daycare where the kids called her DoDo, drove school bus, was secretary of the Gainsbourgh Hall and sales clerk at Canadian Tire.

Funeral Service will be held at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will take place at a later date at Hillside Cemetery.
