With great sadness we announce the passing of Buffy Peters on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at the Portage District General Hospital at the age of 51 years.
Left to cherish Buffy’s memory are her children Ryan, Tova (Benson), Amber and Brandyn (Miranda), grandchildren Arielle, Tristin-Raine, Memphis-Kaine, Dwight, Julian, Serena, Mya, Tyrell, Braiden, Xavier, Karma and Kyliegh, mom Yvonne, sisters Charlyn, Miranda (Kenny) and Beverly (Brian) and brothers Jason and Trevor (Brittany), as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Buffy was predeceased by her son Sheldon, dad Hugh, sister Donelda, niece Kayla Laporte and grandparents Helen & Wallace Peters and George & Mary Laporte.
Buffy will also be greatly missed by her fur babies Queenie, Sophie and Max.
Traditional Wake will take place at Long Plain Spirit Lodge on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at 4:00 pm. Traditional Feast and Service will be held at Long Plain Spirit Lodge on Monday, January 22, 2018 beginning at noon followed by burial at Long Plain Cemetery.
