Ashton James Bruce Meeches
In the early morning of December 2, 2015 Ashton James Bruce Meeches passed
on to the Spirit World to find his answers and finally be at peace at the Portage District General Hospital at the age of 20 years.
Ashton was predeceased by his grandparents Dolly and Bruce Pashe; grandpa James; uncle Jeremy; aunt Kelli and niece Aurora Rose.
Left to cherish his memory are his only son Bryson; mother Jamie; father Kevin; sisters Savannah, DeAsia, Andreea and Cherish; brothers Cyril, Mattias, and Orion Reign; grandmother Ruth and granny Trudy. He will be forever missed by his cousins, aunts, uncles and his large circle of friends who he thought of as family.
Traditional Wake will begin at 4:00 pm on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the Long Plain Spirit Lodge. Traditional Feast and Service will take place on Sunday, December 6, 2015 beginning at noon at the Long Plain Spirit Lodge. Interment to follow at the William Myran Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Noah Letander, Tyson Woods, Chris Houle, Christian Assiniboine, Eric Pashe, Travis Assiniboine and Josh Pashe.
Honourary pallbearers are Isaiah Myron, Nigel Letander, Sebastian Benn, Christopher Roulette, Desmond Pashe, Troy Beaulieu, Kyle Pashe, Nathaniel Pashe and Tyler Assiniboine.
