Arlene Habkirk

ARLENE HABKIRK passed away suddenly at home in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba on Friday, July 3, 2015 at the age of 43 years where she lived with her best friend and loving companion, Ryan Simpson.

Born in the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, January 15, 1972, Arlene is also survived by her parents Glen and Sandie Habkirk; three children - Jayden, Taylor and Jordyn Castelli; her sister Laurie (Erich) Reule and their children - Isabelle, Abigail, Ottilia and Elisa; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins;  a host of wonderful friends she met through the years.

She had a wonderful passion for music and shared that with her family, especially her children who have also attained that passion.  She graduated high school from Kenora, Ontario and took Early Childhood Education in Red Deer, Alberta where she received her certificate and pursued any jobs she could that involved the care of children.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel, Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.
