Arie Joseph Matthijs Schimmel, late of Midale, SK passed away on January 30, 2025 at the age of 41 years.

A Celebration of Life for Arie will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. from McKenna Hall, 317 ~ 3rd Street, Weyburn, SK with Carmella Backlun officiating. Honorary Pallbearers are: Ryan Thompson, Kelly McGonigal, Thomas K. Oman, Kelly Brady, Brandon Rosengren, Rob Douma, Ken Werbiski, Lyndon Werbiski, Geoff Charles and Kelly Orsted. Luncheon will follow at the McKenna Hall. 

A Celebration of Life will also be held in Portage at a later date.
