Suddenly on January 28, 2013, Anthony Longclaws passed away at his home in Long Plain First Nation at the age of 42 years.
Predeceased by grandparents Roy and Myrtle Richard and John and Jessie Longclaws; father Johnny Longclaws; sister Rachel Lee Ann Longclaws; uncles Walter, Phillip, and Clement Longclaws and Hector and Cameron Richard; aunties Phyllis Longclaws, Lillian Roulette, Mary-Ann Catagas and Rena Richard.
Anthony is survived by his mother Barbara Longclaws; sisters Penny-Jo Longclaws (Darrin Cameron), Stacey Longclaws, Cheryl Lynn Longclaws; brothers Quincey Longclaws (Dez Flamand) and Clint Longclaws; aunties Millie Richard-DaCosta, Josephine Longclaws and Shirley Longclaws; uncle James Longclaws; many nieces, nephews and cousins and many friends especially Rhonda Daniels.
Wake will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 4:00 pm at the Long Plain Sprit Lodge. Traditional feast and service will take place on Saturday, February 2, 2013 beginning at noon at the Long Plain Spirit Lodge. Interment will follow at the Long Plain Cemetery.
