We grieve the loss of our mom, grandma and great grandma, Anne Voth who passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022 at the Lions Prairie Manor at the age of 87 years.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Allan. Left to cherish her memory are her children Coleen (John) Hoeppner of Sidney, MB, Sheila (Mike) Babi of Winnipeg, Debby Voth of Selkirk, Rita Voth of Portage la Prairie, Richard Voth of New Westminister, BC, and Kelly Voth of Portage la Prairie, MB; grandchildren Crystal, Erin, Ryan, Lisa, Curtis, Justina, Tina, Haleigh, Logan; 10 great grandchildren and one brother.
Mom married dad in 1955 and together they had 6 children. In 1976, they moved the family from northern Saskatchewan to Portage la Prairie, MB where she lived until the time of her passing. Mom worked as a cook in various restaurants in Portage and for Wee World Daycare. Later she joined dad as a cleaner at Victoria School until he retired.
Mom and dad made a few trips to BC with their fifth wheel. One of mom’s favourite trips was volunteering at the Gleaner’s in Oliver, BC.
Mom spent many hours in her flower garden and in her kitchen. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for the family. Mom loved spending time with her grandchildren and was proud of their accomplishments. She will be missed.
A graveside memorial service and celebration of her life will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
