Amanda was born on May 9, 1980 at 1:30 am in Brandon, Manitoba.  She grew up mostly in New Brunswick because her dad was in the military.  She graduated from Ecole Arthur Meighen in 1999, after graduating she held many jobs in retail.  Retail sales ran deep into her veins.

In 2007, her biggest dream came true when she became a Mom and in 2017, she had another son.  Her boys were he everything.  Amanda had several talents, but being a Mom was her best.

Amanda was a happy person, always ready to help anyone.  She loved to write poems, sing and do crafts.  She loved to bake and decorate her house for any holiday.  Amanda took such pride in baking her chocolate macaroons for Christmas.  Amanda loved to collect angels, pandas and Princess Diana memorabilia, her house was filled with collectables.  She also loved her purses and wallets.  Amanda loved taking pictures and she took a lot of them.

Amanda was a kind hearted person who helped many community groups through her work and also in her personal time.  She helped the Portage Friendship Center, The Bear Clan, the local food bank, Toys for Tots and countless others.  Another program very close to her hear was the inclusive workplace.  She had three wonderful ladies from Visions of Independence working at the store and she was so proud of them.
