Alice Jackett

Alice passed away peacefully at the Douglas Campbell Lodge in Portage la Prairie, MB on Sunday December 16, 2018 with her loving son, Wayne and daughter-in-law Sjana by her side.

Mom was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Clarence (Bud) Jackett in 2005. Dad’s siblings all passed in the following years leaving Mom the last of that generation. Mom was also predeceased by her infant sister Helen, brother Jimmy, mother Ellen, father Nicholas and  son-in-law Miles Wilson.

Mom is survived by her four children: daughter Lorraine (Micky) Janis and their children, Michael (Barbera), Paul (Karen), Terrance (Rebecca) and Thomas (Miki); son Wayne (Sjana); daughter Carla Wilson (Reg); and daughter Valerie.

She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Mom’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. A private family interment will take place at a later date at the Gimli Cemetery.
