Peacefully on Monday, May 16, 2011, Alex Stoney passed away at Portage District General Hospital at the age of 88 years. He will be remembered by family and friends.

There will be a Wake at Long Plain Spirit Lodge on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 4:00 pm. On Thursday, May 19, 2011 there will be a Christian Funeral Service at 11:00am followed by a Traditional Ceremony and Feast beginning at 12:00 noon all at Long Plain Spirit Lodge. Interment will take place at Dauphin Myerion Cemetery.
