He worked in farming for 45 years with Huey Ronald and with Lourens Arendse at LA Quality. As a young child he grew up practicing the traditional Ojibway culture, he would lead the horses into the Sundance with his grandpa Herbie. He was a man of very strong character and unwavering integrity, and was so kind and respectful to everyone. He was a good friend and great listener, always sharing knowledge and truth. He would always talk about his life experiences and had many stories to share. He was a very proud father of all his children and was blessed with all of his grandchildren. He was outgoing and had a passion for music and going to concerts. There were many trips camping and fishing with his family. He loved travelling, from trips to the mountains and to Europe, as well as driving around the country roads he enjoyed being outdoors and truly appreciating nature. Alley had a special bond with his brother Chris, they went on many outings and fishing trips sharing stories and laughter creating lifelong memories. In his last few years he has been able to be surrounded by his grandchildren he loved spending time with them, he was always happy they were around. Alley would want everyone to share memories and to keep smiling and to be grateful for all the time he was able to enjoy with family and friends.
